Oxford United v Charlton team line-ups: New boy Charlie Kirk will have to wait for Addicks debut
Charlton Athletic new boy Charlie Kirk is not part of their matchday squad for today’s League One match at Oxford United.
The winger, who joined the Addicks on Thursday for an undisclosed fee, did not travel with Nigel Adkins’ side for their third fixture of the 2021-22 campaign.
“He trained yesterday with the players for the first time, he trained this morning with the sports science team at the training ground and he will be back involved once again for Monday and looking to be involved for the games after that,” Adkins told Charlton’s official website.
The South London side are unchanged from the 0-0 draw with Sheffield Wednesday last weekend. Alex Gilbey, Ronnie Schwartz and Ben Purrington are all ruled out.
