Non-league round-up: Dulwich win but boss Gavin Rose not happy with performance

BY STEFAN FROST

Gavin Rose contends that his Dulwich Hamlet side are still very much a work in progress following their 4-3 victory over Hampton & Richmond last weekend.

Jack Holland’s 89th-minute goal settled the contest at Champion Hill. Hamlet’s other scorers were Danny Mills (two) and Ronnie Vint.

“We were happy with the result but we didn’t play particularly well,” said Rose. “There are a lot of things we can improve on to reach a higher level. We’ve had periods of playing well but we’re aspiring to get that consistency to give us a greater chance of winning.”

Dulwich, eighth in National League South, host Bath City tomorrow.
