Millwall loan watch: Alex Mitchell’s O’s bounce back to defeat Isaac Olaofe’s Sutton

Millwall centre-back Alex Mitchell got one over team-mate Isaac Olaofe as Leyton Orient thrashed Sutton United 4-1 at Brisbane Road on Saturday.

Olaofe, nicknamed Tanto, had opened the scoring for Sutton after he rifled the ball into the back of the net, but the O’s came from behind.

Mitchell, 19, has yet to lose a league game for the east London side. Orient have won four and drawn seven of the matches he has featured in.

Mahlon Romeo played the full 90 minutes as Portsmouth beat AFC Wimbledon 2-1 at Fratton Park. Goals from Michael Jacobs and Marcus Harness cancelled out Ollie Palmer’s first-half penalty.

Dan Moss’s Yeovil Town beat Dagenham and Redbridge 1-0 to move up to 12th in the National League.

Jayden Davis opened the scoring for King’s Lynn Town against Bromley on Saturday, but the Ravens fought back to win 3-2 at Hayes Lane.

Arthur Penney was on the wrong end of a 6-0 drubbing at the hands of Ebbsfleet United, which means Welling United now sit 15th in the National League South.

Millwall goalkeeper Ryan Sandford kept a clean sheet as Maidstone United beat Chippenham Town 1-0 at the Gallagher Stadium on Saturday.

Hayden Muller was an unused substitute as former Millwall assistant manager Calum Davidson’s St Johnstone were knocked out of the Scottish League Cup.

Dover Athletic lost 3-1 against FC Halifax Town on Saturday. Junior Tiensia played the whole game. Dover stay rooted at the bottom of the table.
