Charlton defender Patrick Bauer ruled out with knee ligament damage
BY RICHARD CAWLEY
Charlton defender Patrick Bauer is facing two months on the sidelines after suffering ligament damage in Saturday’s 2-0 win at Bradford City.
The Addicks centre-back, the subject of a rejected bid from Blackburn Rovers in the summer, posted on Twitter on Monday afternoon about the setback.
Bauer tweeted: “Devastated to find out that today’s MRI confirmed that I have completely raptured the fibular collateral ligament in Saturdays game against Bradford. I will be sidelined for a couple of months, but will work very hard to be back stronger! Thank you for all your messages!”
