Exclusive: Millwall want to extend contract of talented young defender
Millwall are looking to extend James Brown’s contract – with Carlisle United keen on extending his loan until the end of the season.
The Lions right-back has been a big hit with the Cumbrians, being a virtual ever-present since the end of August.
Brown’s current Den deal runs until the end of the current campaign.
Millwall chief executive Steve Kavanagh said: “We are putting a new contract in place and we want him to continue out on loan and develop.
“He is gaining league experience, which is a vital part of the process on his journey to become a first-team player.”
