Non-league round-up: Fisher climb off bottom of SCEFL Premier Division

Fisher climbed off the bottom of the SCEFL Premier Division after a 3-1 home win over Welling Town on Saturday.

Cedric Nganga (pictured) and Michael Sarpong scored either side of half-time before Declan Kama cut the deficit with 21 minutes remaining.

Billy Brown restored the Fish’s advantage in the 80th minute.

The Bermondsey club moved above Canterbury Town and have matches in hand of the five clubs immediately above them.

Welling United are winless in four National League South matches after a 2-1 defeat to bottom club Weymouth at Park View Road.

Tooting Bec slipped to a 1-0 home reverse to Meridian VP.
