Lloyd Jones and Luke Berry passed fit to start Charlton Athletic’s League One play-off semi-final
Lloyd Jones and Luke Berry have been passed fit to start Charlton Athletic’s League One play-off semi-final first leg at Wycombe Wanderers this evening with Thierry Small on the bench.
The trio all failed to feature on the final day of the campaign with Berry and Small both absent since the 4-0 win at Adams Park on April 21.
Addicks manager Jones is able to bring his vice-captain back into the middle of his defence with Alex Mitchell making way. Middlesbrough loanee Alex Gilbert is taken out of the starting line-up to accomodate Berry, who scored against today’s opponents in the emphatic victory here.
There is a start for former Millwall winger Fred Onyedinma for Wycombe Wanderers. The ex-Lion only featured for the final seven minutes of the last meeting.
Defender Jones won Charlton Athletic’s Player of the Season award and was also announced in WhoScored’s League One Team of the Season.
