Millwall boss Harris admits “stern test” awaits at West Bromwich Albion
BY RICHARD CAWLEY
Millwall manager Neil Harris has admitted that they are facing a “stern test” as they head to West Bromwich Albion today for their first away trip of the Championship season.
Jed Wallace’s goal gave them a 1-0 victory over Preston on the opening day.
West Brom also started with a win – at Nottingham Forest.
“They are a strong side who were very unfortunate to miss out on promotion last season,” said Harris.
“They have a wealth of experience at this level in their group and some top individual players who had a strong result on the opening day.
“It’s a stern test for us away from home early but we have got great confidence from last week’s win against Preston.
“It’s early days. We are going to be a difficult test for West Brom. Every away game is going to bring difficulties – either teams in form or hugely experienced managers. It makes every game a test.
“We will look at the opposition and what they do, but we will focus on ourselves and trying to beat them on Saturday.”
