Millwall goalscorer a doubt for derby clash at Charlton

Mason Bennett is a doubt for Millwall’s derby at Charlton Athletic on Friday after picking up an injury in tonight’s 1-1 draw with Swansea at The Den.
Bennett was replaced at half time by Connor Mahoney.
Rowett said: “I’ve not spoken to him yet, but I think his lower back has stiffened, he might have got a knee in it.
“Jon Dadi Bodvarsson is going to be out for probably a couple of weeks, so that’s a bit of a blow for us.
“The likes of Jed Wallace and Tom Bradshaw have had to keep going, we haven’t got loads of energy at the top end of the pitch and that was a bit of an issue.

“If we had been able to bring on two or three players in those positions it might have helped us. But we haven’t and that’s something we’ll have to look at in the summer.”
Rowett was full of praise for Bennett’s performance before he was forced off.
“It was a game where Mason looked really dangerous. He’s a player we can see has added something different for us in that front three. He scored a very good goal.
“It was a moment of quality, we break, pick the right pass and I thought we did that really well at times.”
