Crystal Palace pushing for deal to land QPR star Eze

Crystal Palace are pushing to make QPR’s Ebere Eze their second signing of the summer transfer window.

The Eagles are thought to have made more than one bid for the Greenwich-born 22-year-old.

QPR want £20million for the youngster, who used to be on Millwall’s books. The former England U21 international has also been linked with West Ham United and Tottenham.

But the question is whether a bidding war will develop for Eze which would drive the price up.

The South Londoner has a contract at Loftus Road until the summer of 2021, but QPR also have the option to extend it by a further 12 months.

Eze scored 14 goals in the 2019-20 Championship season with eight assists.

He has scored 20 times in 112 appearances for QPR.
