The lowdown on Charlton’s 0-0 draw against Wycombe in the League One play-off semi-final first leg.

The Wycombe striker was only booked for a first-half challenge on Ramsay, who stayed down and needed treatment.

The two clubs scrapped out a 0-0 draw at Adams Park on Sunday evening.

The Chairboys striker was booked by referee Farai Hallam for a crude and clumsy challenge on Ramsay, with replays showing it was effectively two fouls wrapped into one.

The Addicks will face the Buckinghamshire side again at The Valley on Thursday to decide who reaches Wembley later this month.

Lloyd Jones and Luke Berry have been passed fit to start Charlton Athletic’s League One play-off semi-final first leg at Wycombe Wanderers this evening.

The summer signing from Coventry City has more than paid back his transfer fee with his double in Saturday’s 3-1 win over Burton Albion nudging him on to 21 goals for a highly-productive campaign.

Jones guided Charlton to fourth in the final standings – a major turnaround from their 16th-placed finish in the 2023-24 campaign.

Jones talked after achieving the top-six feat – for the first time since Charlton were relegated to England’s third tier – about some less experienced bosses potentially going under, as well as some boards making a change, when the SE7 outfit were struggling for results.

The 33-year-old striker has scored 21 goals in all competitons for the Addicks since his summer transfer from Coventry City.

Lloyd Jones, Thierry Small and Luke Berry all missed last weekend’s 3-1 win over Burton Albion.

Campbell scored seven goals in the league campaign as Charlton finished fourth in the final standings.

Charlton will head to Adams Park on May 11 – for a 6.30pm kick off – before the second leg at The Valley on May 15.
