EXCLUSIVE: Farage in talks to build superhero amusement park near old school, Dulwich College

Former Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage has approached the Dulwich Estate with a scheme to create a superhero theme park on its open spaces, called JokerLand. The 56-year-old, who joined the advisory board of tree-planters Dutch Green Business last month, has been trying to draw support from investors as far away as Cape Town. He has also begun the search for a web designer.

A manhunt is under way after a possible killer, bleeding after a fatal knife fight, attacked a cop trying to arrest him – and fled the hospital where he was being treated for wounds sustained in the blood-soaked struggle. Wandsworth music charity which helps disadvantated kids had equipment stolen by “professional” burglar

A charity which teaches young people to play music instruments has been raided by a professional burglar, who broke in at 2am and stole thousands of pounds of instruments and recording equipment and cycled off on a Santander bike. The first-floor home of the World Heart Beat Music Academy in Kimber Road, Wandsworth, was plundered in the early hours of March 22, with CCTV footage showing only partial pictures of what the culprit looked like.

A probationary cop involved in the search for murdered Brixton marketing executive Sarah Everard has been removed from duties for allegedly sharing an “inappropriate graphic”. The Met said a graphic was shared via social media on Friday and was reported by a number of officers “who were concerned by its content”.

Home Secretary Priti Patel has asked Scotland Yard for a “full report” amid criticism of the Met’s handling of mourners at a vigil in memory of Sarah Everard at Clapham Common this evening. Some called for the Metropolitan Police’s Commissioner Cressida Dick to quit as London Mayor Sadiq Khan acknowledged that officers’ handling of the meeting at the common bandstand was at times “not appropriate nor proportionate” and he would be “urgently seeking an explanation”.

A vigil on Clapham Common this evening in response to the disappearance nearby of Sarah Everard has been cancelled by the organisers because of the threat they face of being fined under the Serious Crime Act. Reclaim These Streets planned to hold the event at the common’s bandstand tonight, Saturday at 6pm, near to Poynders Road, on the South Circular, where the 33-year-old, whose body was formally identified on Friday, went missing.
