Toddler dies after fall from height in Forest Hill
A two-year-old boy has died after falling from a height in south-east London.
Emergency crews including the air ambulance responded to calls to an incident in Wynell Road, Forest Hill at about 12.15pm on Sunday.
The toddler was treated at the scene, near Mayow Road, by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
Despite the best efforts of the medical staff, he later died.
No arrests have been made and police are treating the death as “unexpected” while an investigation continues.
The family are being supported by specialist officers, the Met Police said.
A London Ambulance spokeswoman said: “We sent resources including ambulance crews, an incident response officer and London’s air ambulance.
“We treated a child at the scene and took them to hospital. Sadly, despite our efforts, they died.”
