Millwall boss Gary Rowett delighted at Bart Bialkowski deal
BY RICHARD CAWLEY
Millwall have confirmed the permanent signing of Bart Bialkowski.
The Lions agreed a fee with Ipswich Town for Bialkowski over the weekend.
The Poland stopper’s agent was at The Den for Saturday’s FA Cup tie against Sheffield United, with personal terms quickly sorted.
“Bart has been brilliant and one of the priorities of this window was to see if we could take him permanently,” Millwall manager Gary Rowett told the South London Press.

“The challenge was always whether the clubs could find a solution in terms of a fee. The rest was quite easy.
“We got the deal done so that he’s our player for longer than just this season. As soon as this season starts ticking down then people get a little nervous – this just gives security to him and to us. He’s a very good player in our squad and we’re building something long term.
“Bart was really keen to come and be part of something.
“His performances have been really, really consistent and some big saves by him in games have helped us get the points.
“In the first three or four games after we came in he was a lot busier because we weren’t quite structured well enough.”
