Ade signs first pro contract
Crystal Palace U18s forward Ademola Ola-Adebomi has signed his first professional contract with the club.
The 18-year-old has enjoyed a fine season as part of Rob Quinn’s U18s, scoring 14 goals from 22 appearances as the U18s sit third in the league.
Ola-Adebomi joined Palace 10 years ago and progressed through the age groups, coming on as the U15s won the national Super Floodlit Cup final for the first time.
He is a powerful centre-forward who made his U18s breakthrough last season.
Ola-Adebomi said: “It’s what I’ve dreamed of since the age of eight, since I joined the academy. To get a professional contract here means the world to me.
“This season has been my best season so far. I feel like I’m playing with confidence and I’m scoring goals, assisting goals and playing well”
Chairman Steve Parish said: “He has been with this club for a decadel.
“I feel sure he will capitalise on this landmark moment and continue to work hard. We will make sure he has all the tools and support from every member of staff in our new academy facility. Congratulations to him and his family, we are all very proud of him.”
