Charlton Athletic make two changes – one enforced – for League One play-off semi-final against Wycombe
Charlton Athletic manager Nathan Jones has made two changes for tonight’s crunch League One play-off semi-final against Wycombe Wanderers.
One of them is enforced with Middlesbrough loanee Alex Gilbert coming in for Luke Berry, who misses out with what the Addicks described as “a minor injury”.
Thierry Small is the other switch as the former Everton and Southampton youngster replaces Tennai Watson, who drops to the bench.
Chuks Aneke returns from his three-match suspension and is benched. Jones has three strikers as substitute options with Daniel Kanu and Micah Mbick also included.
Former Millwall winger Fred Onyedinma started the first leg at Adams Park but his spot in Wycombe’s starting line up goes to Garath McCleary, who is celebrating turning 38 today. Goalkeeper Will Norris is ill with Franco Ravizzoli pulling on the gloves.
The two sides drew 0-0 in the first leg.
Leyton Orient await the victors in the final on May 25 after their penalty shootout win over Stockport County last night.
