Charlton Athletic manager Bowyer shortlisted for September’s League One Manager of the Month award

Lee Bowyer has been nominated for League One Manager of the Month for September.

The Addicks won four and drew one of their five matches in the month.

It is the first time Bowyer has been shortlisted for the award. 

His main rival for the accolade looks to be Doncaster Rovers’ Grant McCann, as they also took 13 points from their fixtures.

Kenny Jackett (Portsmouth) and John Coleman (Accrington Stanley) are shortlisted too.
