Crystal Palace coach makes switch to Danish club

Crystal Palace first-team coach Dave Reddington has left the club to become assistant manager at AGF in Denmark.

Reddington initially joined the Eagles in 2004, where he worked for four years in the club’s academy.

In 2016, he was made the assistant manager of the South London-club’s U23’s.

In September 2018, the former Watford coach was promoted to Crystal Palace’s first team coach.

However the 39-year-old will now link up with former AFC Wimbledon striker David Nielsen, who is the manager of the Danish side.

Reddington posted this farewell message on his Twitter: “Just want to say a big thank you to Crystal Palace for eight fantastic season.

“Looking forward to a great challenge at AGF.”
