Crystal Palace Women move to a new home

Crystal Palace will be moving to a new home for the start of the 2023-24 FA Women’s Championship.

The Eagles will be playing at Sutton United’s VBS Community Stadium, moving from Bromley’s Hayes Lane, where they have played their games since 2014.

Palace recently announced the appointment of Laura Kaminski as head coach. She left her role as Charlton Athletic’s assistant manager to join Palace.

They kick off their 2023-24 Championship campaign at home against recently relegated Super League side Reading.

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish said: “This is an exciting new start for Palace Women, playing at a historic, local stadium that will be familiar to many of our supporters, and we hope to attract fresh support for the club.

“We are hugely grateful for Bromley FC’s long-standing support for Palace Women and we would like to thank them for their hospitality over many years, the move is in large part driven by the WSL requirement for a grass pitch.”

You may attract new support but you’ll lose those of us who live in Bromley!
