Dulwich Hamlet are in talks to sign a goalkeeper – after Preston Edwards suffered a knee ligament injury which is set to rule him out for at least a month.
And captain Marc Weatherstone is also facing two weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring strain.
The Bostik League Premier Division’s financial constraints are well-documented due to a stand-off between Meadow Residential, who own their Champion Hill home, and the local council.

Dulwich boss Gavin Rose said: “It looks like Preston has done his MCL, which is not good news. We don’t have a back-up, only a youth keeper who wouldn’t be ready to play.
“We are speaking to a few clubs in the professional leagues and are pretty positive we’ll get one it, with the way that talks have gone.
“Marc’s injury is also not great. He could be out longer than two weeks. We have quite a small squad as it is, we need to add players to be competitive.
“At this moment in time we don’t want to add players because we have issues off the pitch.”
