Dulwich record successive National League South wins after beating 10-man Weymouth
BY MOHAMUD AHMED
Dulwich Hamlet made it two wins on the bounce as Paul Barnes’ men comfortably defeated Weymouth 2-0 after goals from Johl Powell and ex-Weymouth striker Dan Smith.
An early red card just 30 minutes in made life easier for the home side as the Terras’ Tom Bearwish received a second yellow card for a late challenge on Frankie Raymond.
Seven minutes later, the home side nearly took advantage of 10-men Weymouth, but brave defending denied Danny Mills a tap-in at the far post.
The second half saw Dulwich continue their fine performance. On the 66th-minute mark, substitute Powell fired one past goalkeeper Zaki Oualah after Jayden Clarke slipped the midfielder in with a through ball.
The South Londoner’s second goal came in the 87th minute after a counter attacked saw Sanchez Ming square the ball to Dan Smith to double the home side’s lead with 3 minutes to go.

Dulwich Hamlet will look to extend their unbeaten run to five games when they take on Dover Athletic on boxing day.
