Jadon Sancho set to smash English transfer record as Manchester United close on £108m deal
Camberwell’s Jadon Sancho could be set to smash the English transfer record – with Manchester United reportedly closing in on a money-spinning deal to land the Borussia Dortmund attacker.
The Daily Mail say that the 20-year-old’s transfer to Old Trafford could reach £108million.
They also claim that Sancho will sign at least a five-year contract.
The paper describes talks between the two clubs as “advanced”. Dortmund paid just £8m when they snapped him up from Manchester City in 2017.
Sancho is reportedly earning £190,000-a-week at the German club.
The current English transfer record is already held by Manchester United, who splashed out £89m to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus in 2016.
