Millwall chief executive: Rivalry doesn’t matter as we pay our respects to Charlton fan Seb Lewis
BY RICHARD CAWLEY
Millwall chief executive Steve Kavanagh has paid his respects to Seb Lewis, the Charlton Athletic fan who passed away from the coronavirus earlier this week.
The 38-year-old Blackheath resident had clocked up more than 1,000 consecutive matches watching the Addicks.
Kavanagh said: “As a club we would like to send our condolences for Seb.
“There is a rivalry between the two clubs, but I have seen on the message boards the support and condolences – that cuts across that.
“It is very sad to hear someone dedicated to his club in the way has lost his life.
“Any football fan who has suffered from this has our thoughts and best wishes.”

Deepest Sympathies to Seb and his family.
