Millwall confirm loan deal for Sheffield United midfielder Luke Freeman

Millwall have completed the loan signing of Luke Freeman.

The Lions submitted the paperwork before Monday night’s deadline but only obtained EFL ratification on the deal late this afternoon.

Freeman will be at tonight’s match against Preston North End but is not eligible to feature.

The 29-year-old will spend the remainder of the Championship season with the Lions.

He can play on either wing or in a central attacking role.

Freeman is the second and final signing made by Millwall in the January transfer window.
