Millwall could be boosted by trio being back available for West Bromwich Albion clash
Mason Bennett is due to train this morning with Millwall set to be boosted by the return of three players for Saturday’s match at West Bromwich Albion.
The former Derby County prodigy has been out since suffering ankle ligament damage stretchered off in the home game against Sunderland early last month.
Midfielder Billy Mitchell (ankle) and Tyler Burey (hip) had also been sidelined.
“Billy and Tyler trained yesterday and got through it fine,” Rowett told the South London Press. “We’ll see how they progress as the week goes on. It’s quite hard , when they have been out for quite a long period of time, to assess how close to first-team action they are until they’ve had a full week’s training. Then you can assess that whole week in its entirety.

“Mason is due to train today, so hopefully by Thursday – when we have got the international players coming back – if they come back unscathed and get through training then we’ll have more options.
“That’s the difficult bit at this stage, for someone like Billy – who has been so influential when he was fit – can he go straight back into the team with eight games to go? Or is it going to take him three or four games to find his feet? The difficult bit is we haven’t got that time to wait at this stage, every game is massive.
“We’ll have to assess that as we go along. It’s not as easy as them being fit and ready to start – play every game.”
