Millwall legend King set to make a special visit to The Den

Former Millwall goalkeeper Bryan King will be signing copies of his autobiography before and after tomorrow’s home game against Birmingham City.

The 74-year-old, who resides in Norway, will be in the Lions Shop Kiosk.

His autobiography The Lions’ King will be on sale.

King will also be doing a signing session at the Lions Centre in Bolina Road on December 7 at 6pm. That will be followed by a Q&A session, hosted by Jeff Burnige, as King and Steve Brown look back on the 1971-72 season when the South Londoners finished third to just fall short of promotion to the top flight.

King played 380 matches for Millwall before joining Coventry in 1975.

He was also called up to the England squad in April 1974 but was a non-playing substite as Phil Parkes played in a 0-0 draw in Lisbon. The match was Sir Alf Ramsey’s last as manager.
