Millwall legend makes move to National League newcomers
BY RICHARD CAWLEY
Paul Robinson has signed for Havant & Waterlooville – with Hawks manager Lee Bradbury believing the club’s location was key to landing the former Millwall and AFC Wimbledon defender.
Dons boss Neal Ardley released the experienced centre-back at the end of last season.
And Robinson has now penned a deal with Havant, who won the National League South title.
Bradbury said: “He’s played at a very good level, is a leader of men and a very determined and hard-working character and will bring us a lot both on and off the pitch.
It’s a good signing, it’s fortunate that he lives 10 minutes away in Petersfield and everything seemed to fit for him.
We’re very excited by the signing and will be a great addition to the great defence that we have already got.”
