Millwall v Sheffield Wednesday: Three changes for Lions as Wallace, Thompson and McNamara all nursing knocks
Millwall manager Gary Rowett has made three changes for today’s home game against Sheffield Wednesday – with Jed Wallace, Ben Thompson and Danny McNamara all nursing slight knocks.
The trio are all on the bench and it means a debut for George Evans in the back three with Ryan Leonard pushing into midfield.
Mahlon Romeo comes in at right wing-back with Jon Dadi Boadvarsson also starting up top alongside Ken Zohore.
The Lions are still without Murray Wallace (broken foot), Connor Mahoney (quad) and Billy Mitchell (hamstring).
Millwall have won one league game at The Den this season and have drawn their last three matches in the Championship.
Wednesday have picked up four victories in their last five games to boost their survival prospects.
