Not good news as Millwall striker set to miss Norwich City fixture

Kenneth Zohore looks set to miss Millwall’s fixture at Norwich City tomorrow – with manager Gary Rowett hinting that he might look to freshen up his starting line-up.

The on-loan West Bromwich Albion striker scored for the Lions in their 2-0 victory at Preston North End but a muscle strain saw him miss Saturday’s 3-0 reverse to Huddersfield Town.

And Zohore is expected to be absent as the South Londoners head to Carrow Road in midweek.

“I think Kenneth will be unavailable again,” said Rowett. “That is a big blow when he played so well and you feel like you have got a different option of striker in the building to affect games. So to be back at square one after one start is disappointing.

“Troy [Parrott] is not far away but won’t be back until the international break. Everyone else is available.

“There were two or three you could clearly see against Huddersfield that it was maybe a game too far but they have had to go every game. We’re probably going to have to think about where we can make sensible changes on Tuesday, where we can give players an opportunity to show what they can do. I’ve spoken before about two or three who haven’t had a start and are probably chomping at the bit. This might be the chance to unleash one or two of those.

“It depends what system we are going to play. We’re going to need energy at a difficult place like Carrow Road. Norwich are a very good side who move the ball incredibly well.”
