Former Charlton Athletic midfielder signs for Wigan Athletic
Former Charlton Athletic midfielder Jordan Cousins has sealed a League One move – to Wigan Athletic.
The 27-year-old has inked a two-year contract with the Latics.
Cousins played 136 matches for the Addicks before being sold to QPR in 2016.
“I’m very happy,” he told Wigan’s official website. “I came down here a couple of weeks ago and I was blown away by the facilities and what the manager had to say, and I’m looking forward to getting going.
“I’ve been and played here as an away player a few times, but just coming here, being shown around the stadium and talking to the gaffer and chief executive [Mal Brannigan], has blown me away.
“It’s a new challenge for me, but a challenge I’m looking forward to.
“I’ve been to the training ground and I’ve been around the DW Stadium, and the vibe that I’m getting is really good. I can’t wait to get started.”

Sad to see a once very promising player dropping down as far as Wigan
